Our first conversation is a no-obligation, no-cost chat to understand your needs and see if we are a good fit.

The purpose here is to focus on the Outcome that is required to achieve Value.

Usually this is tied to a capability that your business needs to have, or a problem that needs to be solved.

How we try to not get hired⌗

We’ll run through alternative approaches to achieve the Outcome.

You may already have an approach to how to solve this worked out, or you may not.

Given we are experienced technologists we may come up with a few you hadn’t thought of.

Most of these approaches won’t need us, and it may turn out you can achieve the Outcome quicker and easier without us… in which case we’ll be happy to have helped.

We have a good track record of finding cheaper easier ways for clients to achieve their goals.

We only want to be involved in projects that Create Value

There is nothing more discouraging than to be working on something that is not creating value.

To ensure we are aligned on this, we work on a Fixed Price basis to achieve the Outcome.

We are incentivised to achieve the Outcome, rather than looking to bill as many hours as possible.

We don’t change by the hour, and we don’t have a day rate. (We literally don’t have one)

Proposal⌗

On the basis of initial chats and getting clarity on what needs to be done we’ll put together a proposal.

The proposal will cover the Outcome to be achieved and a Fixed Price to achieve it.

Please note that these are fixed prices, not estimates. You will not pay a cent more than your selected price.

This will cover the tasks which we will undertake, and also what will be required on your side to make the project a success, along with risks and assumptions.

Guarantee⌗

Our work is guaranteed. In the event that you feel that we are not meeting the standards described, or based on our mutual conversations and agreements, we will refund the fee.

All our employees are senior software engineers.

You will work directly with our software engineers, you won’t be shuffled off to a junior or a project manager.
