Hi, I’m Mark,⌗

I’m a software engineer at heart, but along the way I learned how to lead technology teams, and help other software engineers get better at their jobs.

Over the years I found myself working closely with CEOs, sales, operations and all the other parts of an organisation to help them understand the true potential of technology, and how it worked within their own businesses.

It was an education process that went both ways, as it turned out, and I walked away with a greater sense of commercial acumen, allowing me to put technology into perspective alongside all the other business functions.

Now, I used to say all of this knowledge, experience and perspective helps businesses ‘get good at technology’, which it does, but what that really means is that I can help you:

build products and services that are as good as they need to be
attract the right engineering talent, and create an environment where they can do their best work
create flexible systems, ensuring you can adapt to an uncertain future

At the moment:
